On behalf of the WPBSA, I am delighted to have renewed our partnership with the ICSS, who are one of the worlds leading experts in the area of sport integrity.

Extending this partnership with the ICSS demonstrates the WPBSAs strong and ongoing commitment to safeguarding the sport of snooker and represents another important step in the WPBSAs integrity strategy.

I look forward to working closely with the ICSSs team of sport integrity experts and Sportradar to ensure that snooker continues to take a strong and proactive stance in safeguarding its integrity.

Individual nations cant prevent international threats to sport integrity but collectively they can. With its international expertise, the ICSS is a strategic partner for UNESCO in the area of manipulation of sport competitions. Together we can enhance our scientific, multi-stakeholder approach to this problem.

There are significant risks to children around major sporting events such as child labour and increased violence. This agreement with the ICSS is an important step for creating a safe and protective environment for Brazilian girls and boys.

Gary Stahl, representative to UNICEF in Brazil

The challenge of securing major sport events and international venues has never been greater and once again the ICSS has added considerable knowledge and experience to the event, as well as their cutting-edge expertise in sport safety and security. This has been of enormous benefit to our members. The ICSS is continuing to play an important and active role in leading the development of the sport safety and security industry. On behalf of ESSMA, I look forward to continuing our work with the ICSS, as well as other organisations including the ECA and EPFL.
