As part of our passion and commitment to enhance sport safety, security and integrity; we work in partnership with the sports industry to drive collective action and to identify innovative and pioneering new ways to protect sport.
The ICSS works with National Olympic Committees, International Federations, governments, cities, leagues, clubs, venue operators, major event organisers and other stakeholders.
We collaborate closely with leading organisations such as UNESCO, UNODC, UNICEF, World Health Organisation, World Bank, OECD, the European Union, Council of Europe, Organization of American States, the Commonwealth Sports Ministers, Community of Portuguese Language Countries and work together with a number of NGOs and governments to provide thought leadership and to influence policy and advise on legislation.
In partnership also with academic institutions including the Harvard Kennedy School’s Center for International Development and University Paris 1 - Pantheon-Sorbonne; the ICSS develops research programmes which inform and support our work to advise policy makers and sports industry professionals.
Our projects extend to research into the vital role sport plays in social and economic development.
